Lakeside Lutheran Church is proud to introduce Pastor Scott Benson as the new interim Pastor. Pastor Benson will begin his pastoral care duties immediately and will begin preaching in December.

Retiring from Faith Lutheran Church, Suffolk, Va., Pastor Benson is a graduate of Trinity Seminary (1983). He served at Bethel, Long Beach, Calif., St. Mary's Pine, Mt. Jackson, Va. before he was called to Faith in 2000. He and Babs Benson have two daughters and two grandsons. Benson has coordinated conference events and worked on Synod youth programs for 20 years.
