The Reverend Sherrie L. Hofmann

Pastor Hofmann is a native of Baker, West Virginia. She is veteran of the United States Air Force with 18 years service and a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. She was an Aerospace Ground Equipment Master Technician, Master Instructor, Quality Assurance Evaluator and Budget Analyst. She is a graduate of the Air University with 2 Associate Degrees. She is a graduate of the Non Commissioned Officer Leadership School, The Non Commissioned Officer Academy and the Senior Non Commissioned Officer Academy.

She completed her undergraduate education at Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington, receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. Pastor Hofmann graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 2005 with a Master of Divinity degree.  She completed the Rural & Small Church Ministry course, an immersion and elective related to rural or small town ministry and received a Concentration in Town and Country Church Ministry.  She has experience with AA, grief counseling, men’s and women’s Bible study, parenting, youth and family ministry.

Reverend Hofmann's other interests include quilting, knitting, crocheting and sewing. She is married to Scott Hofmann and they have two children, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, six cats and call Warren County and Lake Gaston Home.
