I love living near the water – whether a river, lake or ocean. God’s move in my life has enabled my husband, Steve, and I to do just that and to move closer to our family who live in the Tidewater area of Virginia and Goldsboro, NC.

We came here from Pennsylvania where I served my first call in the Allegheny Synod with the folks of First Faith Lutheran Cooperative – a two-point parish. I served there for 7 ½ years. We began serving Lakeside Lutheran Church and the community on July 10 in 2024. I’m so very happy for God to have called me to be here with everyone so that we can share the good news of Jesus the Christ together.

I began the candidacy process in 2011 with the Virginia Synod, graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg and was approved for ordination in 2016. I was ordained as a minister in January, 2017. 

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
