Lakeside Lutheran Church Food Bank
In 2003 Lakeside Lutheran Church (LLC) began a partnership with Lake Gaston Baptist Church (LGBC) to help with food distribution as part of a new area Food Bank LGBC set up. LLC delivered one day a week. In 2015 LLC started the process to become a Food Bank Agency. On August 1st 2015 LLC was certified as an official agency. Over time LLC has become partners in feeding the community with Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Fidelity Baptist Church, and Patillo Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
With our partners some serve directly from their location and others deliver the food directly.
In 2024 LLC Food Bank donated $5,000 to Loaves and Fishes for the construction of a building to house their fork lift. In 2025 we donated $1,000 to Manna Food Bank in Asheville to help repair their building after Hurricane Helene. We have also purchased McDonalds gift cards for the blessing bags which members of LLC are invited to keep in their cars and give to someone they see in need who is currently living without a house.

Tuesday's Table Community Food and Fellowship. They serve lunch on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Warrenton Rural Volunteer Fire Department, 236 S. LifeLine Outreach, Inc. This food pantry feeds those who are in need of a helping hand serving fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk, bakery and meats (when available). A photo ID is required to receive a food box and there are no deliveries. Boxes are distributed on Tuesday & Fridays at 10:30am and 2pm. Only one box per month per household is allowed.
